So that music doesn’t stop

The coronavirus pandemic only emphasized the enormous poverty of a large number of our citizens, the youngest of whom felt completely isolated from their peers due to the inability to be involved in distance learning.

At the moment, 274 children living in difficult financial situations, from Belgrade, Obrenovac, Kraljevo, Leskovac, Bujanovac, Surdulica, and Niš, are not able to continue attending classes because they do not have the appropriate equipment.

That’s why we wanted to provide each one with a tablet and an internet connection to enable them to stay connected with their peers and not lag behind them in learning.

Our organizations Music Art Project, Foundation SOS Children’s Villages Serbia, and ADRA has been dedicated for years to work with children, creating better conditions for their education, development, and progress. In these challenging and unexpected circumstances, the help we need to at least somewhat reduce the obvious inequalities require greater solidarity than ever before. Together with the Catalyst Balkans Foundation, which brought us together, in order to facilitate the donation process and ensure greater visibility of the problems of these children, we launched a campaign on the Donacije.rs website.
