Ivana Rapajić Moran
Ivana Rapajić Moran (1971) graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy in Belgrade and began her career in a domestic pharmaceutical company. In 1997, she moved abroad and continued working in the private sector with one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical multinationals, MSD, gaining experience across six countries: Cyprus, Bahrain, France, Australia, Serbia, and Romania.
Throughout her career, she has worked in the fields of infectious diseases, oncology, cardiology, and neurology. Since 2022, her focus has been on immunization and public health, when she established the first HPV immunization team in Serbia. In collaboration with academic institutions, she has served as a key link between the multinational company and experts engaged in research and the advancement of healthcare. She currently leads the immunization team in Romania.
She holds two master’s degrees: one from Paris, from ESCP Business School (Medical Management and Biotechnologies), and another from the University of Sydney (Global Executive MBA). Ivana believes that learning and professional development are lifelong processes. She is currently pursuing a PhD at her alma mater, the Faculty of Pharmacy in Belgrade, within the Department of Social Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Legislation, focusing on improving public health through education and the enhancement of healthcare services. She also sees education as the greatest “equalizer”—a fundamental right of every child and a key driver in addressing poverty.
She is actively involved in humanitarian initiatives and committees aimed at improving healthcare, expanding access to education, and ultimately enhancing the quality of life within communities.
