Donate a snack for the music band

One of MAP’s most active centers is located in the “Branko Pešić” Elementary School in Zemun, attended by slightly over 200 children, 98% are from socially disadvantaged families and internally displaced persons from Kosovo without registered residence. Although talented for music, active and curious, our Pešić kids have nothing close to adequate conditions for growing up and development. Most of them live in unofficial settlements, without electricity, water, heating, and sewage. Hunger often hinders their desire to get out of poverty through education and, above all, through music that brightens their day.

Free snacks are necessary as support for children to learn and concentrate better and as an additional incentive for parents to support them in schooling and prevent drop-out. Therefore, at the beginning of this school year, MAP decided to start the fight against hunger, together with all the good people who believe in our program and who enjoyed the concerts and achievements of our children, because no child should learn, play and play music with an empty stomach.
